Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California

Is this consisdered legally justified?

I was rear-ended in 98 in my taxi-the other guys fault. I hired a lawyer, but , traded lawyers to this current lawyer- I incurred neck injury- .All he said were lies. He never sued my boss-I lost my job- he agreed to 33% and took 40% I got that difference back after threatening the Bar to him. The lawyer has yet to do anything for my case and has yet to pay the doctors, I was refused medical care after no payment and still need it. After my lawyer pocketed $4000 for NO services rendered for Me from a settlement of$15,000,(which he told me was going to be larger when we sued my boss for the rest) I turned him into the bar months ago which sent me a card saying they were investagating-but nothing..no answers not anything. I am a single mom.. I'm behind on bills, my neck hurts to bad to work. I enrolled in school w/grant and I dont even have a phone because of this so called lawyer! Now the time has passed to sue my x-boss and I don't know where to turn. The bar has all the info but I am still after 6 mo waiting to here anything. What can I do? Can another lawyer clean up this lawyers neglegent mess?

Is this normal with Lawyers? Please help me.

Thankyou and God Bless--

This is pretty typical for personal injury lawyers. you can sue him for malpractice if you want.
