Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California

so you're DEATHLY ALLERGIC TO BEES & staying in a hotel that apparently has a bee problem...for 2 weeks you complain about bees coming into your room and their answer is taking a can-o-bugspray to the hive.... then upon a 9pm complaint about bees in the bathroom, they give your 15 yr old a can-o-bugspray to handle it himself.... at what point is it ok to get an attorney involved?

Why on earth would you stay even one day in a hotel that's infested with bees, especially if you're allergic? Check out and find other accommodations.

You have an obligation to mitigate your damages before you can successfully take legal action. That means you take your own steps to avoid the problem before you try to get a lawyer involved. Staying in a place with bees when you are allergic, for two weeks, is NOT mitigating your damages. The first day or two, MAYBE if you had been stung, there might be something legal to talk about, MAYBE. You have a bee allergy and you stay there for TWO WEEKS?!?!?!?!!? Hell, at that point you could get stung and die from it and you wouldn't have a case that F. Lee Bailey could win.
