To answer your question, however, no, you cannot be bound to a contract you do not consent to unless you give someone a power of attorney or make them your agent to enter into contracts. An employer can, however, enter into their own contracts with third parties for your benefit, and in that case the employer and the third party control the terms of the contract and you are bound by them if you want the benefit of the contract.
