Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California

My wife, while we were seperated but attempting to still save our marriage began dating, sleeping with and subsequently divorced me and moved herself and our 3 year old daughter in with the owner of a crossfit franchise in Davis Ca......She lied to me about and kept their escapades from me for months until I was dumbfounded and found out I was divorced by default. I was purposely deceived and didn't know I was to be in court. I thought we were still in negotiations regarding distribution of assets and property. The stress and added responsibilty of having to pay all of the bills, since she left me with all of them, has caused me a great depression. Previously and currently I am self employed as a construction contractor but am about to close my doors as I haven't been able to keep continuous jobs coming through. My understanding is that I am not eligible to recieve unemployment insurance and have not been able to pay my court mandated child and spousal support due to lack of income. She has turned me in to Child Support services who has taken my license and my ability to drive so now I am really screwed. All of my funds are about to be completely spent and I have or am in the process of losing two homes, a 32 year old family business, a young daughter and all I have worked so hard for because of a fitness coach and franchise owner who uses his job and position to satisfy his personal desires. I know this can't be looked upon favorably by the parent franchise but realistically is their some form of legal action that can be brought to him? Payment from his liabilty insurance perhaps?////////////////////////

First off, this is not a Legal Ethics and Professional Responsibility question. That category is for questions about lawyer conduct. Second, suing people for stealing a wife or husband hasn't been allowed since the 1950's. Lastly, why are you coming looking for legal advice now to sue the guy who took your wife, when you couldn't be bothered to get a lawyer back when something could have been done about your default or all the other things you are claiming happened to you? And why aren't you talking to a lawyer now about getting an arrears determination and a reduction in child support due to your lack of income? It all makes your tale of woe very suspicious and sounding like you are just looking for an avenue for vengeance against the guy who took your wife. But if your whole scenario really is true, then you need to meet with a family law attorney immediately and start dealing with the real problem which is sticking your head in the sand about your family law case.
