Legal Question in Legal Malpractice in California

About 2years ago my wife and I hired a lawyer that we new for pre bankruptsy counseling he charged us about $5,000 the advice was fine but I found out later he started haveing an affair with my wife He wasn't happy with his wife. I will be getting a divorce soon. Should I just report him to the state bar or is thier any recourse for me.

Such conduct violates the ethical standards for attorneys, and if reported to the State Bar would result in an investigation and possible discipline. It may also give you grounds for a civil lawsuit. If serious about pursuing this, feel free to contact me.
