Legal Question in Legal Malpractice in California

Violation of Fiduciary Trust

After being injuried on the job, I hired an an attorney to assist me in getting benefits. The attorneys started out going for 600+ but settled for about 15000. I did not know the attorney had another suit for $265,000 in a default judgement until after I fired the attorney. Is there a way to make this attorney pay the amount of the default judgement that was concealed from me?

Re: Violation of Fiduciary Trust

I don't completely understand your situation. Was this a work comp case or a third party case? Who is the default judgment against and what does that have to do with your case? I need more facts to better advise you. Please feel free to respond to me privately.
