Legal Question in Mediation in California

Hi

I have pending arbitration with a lawyer in CA over fees and was recently served by mail. I don't have much legal knowledge and am confused about what I received. It was a single sheet of paper titled "Proof of Service" but nothing else was in the packet. It just says it was sent by mail and it was signed, but says little else. Can you help?

The proof of service should indicate what document was supposed to be served on you. What legal entity is in charge of the arbitration? I would contact the legal entity and notify them of what occurred. You could also move to quash service of what was supposed to be served on you, because it wasn't served. Good luck.
