Legal Question in Mediation in California

Should I sue against the doctor

I got a surgery due to endometriosis recently. And the doctor seems to have very bad practice. After surgery, she didn't show up. She just told my husband waiting outside the surgery room that she can't remove the cyst from left ovary because it's behind uterus, but she has completely removed the cyst from right ovary. According to the previous instrcution, she would consider to switch from laparscopic to lapartomy if she can't remove the cysts completely. But she didn't do it. But I still get severe pain on the right for the 1st month before/during period after surgery. So I went for another doctor, and it turns out I still have 4 cysts left with the vaginal ultrasound! One on the left, and 3 on the right. I have been taking 6 pills for each painful day after this bad surgery. And I hope I won't need another surgery, but it seems maybe inevitable.I seriously want to sue the person who made the surgery on me.

Thanks,

Jasmine

Re: Should I sue against the doctor

medical malpractice claims can be a very costly and hard to prove legal issue. we certainly empathize with what you and your family have been put thru, from the information you submitted herein, and if you do feel strongly about your case against your doctor, you should DEFINITELY consult with an attorney on what all is involved and what proof is needed right off the bat. specific factual details and expert witness declarations are key for you in proving your surgeon acted completely unreasonable by the overall standards that other "like surgeons" would have implemented in treating you. its a difficult standard to meet to say the least, but it can be done. if you would like further assistance or direction here, contact us today.
