Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California

My husband had 3 brain surgeries for Glioblastoma Multiforme. October 2008 was his first and he died 6 months later in 2009. The surgeon that treated him is being banned from human research for misconduct per the hospital system. I am now wondering if my husband could have been injected with bacteria as a guinea pig - this is the reasons the surgeon and his superior are under fire.

This has brought back all the pain and loss for me and my family. I may never know one way or the other. My life was ripped apart and now I am just getting it back. Now after discovering and reading about his surgeon, I'm wondering if I can ever put it to rest. What do I do? Let it go, or pursue something, but I dont know what.

There is nothing to pursue, the statute of limitations has run out on any claim for wrongful death and malpractice.
