Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California

My mom has power of attorney and medical directive of my 93 year old grandmother. My grandmother is currently in a assisted living home and my aunt is interfering with my grandmas care. My aunt has convinced my grandmother not to take her medications and for her to go back home. My aunt is only wanting my grandmothers assets and money.

If your mother can't resolve the problem by dealing with the home and excluding the aunt from decision making, then to obtain authority to control and regulate this, your mother can seek Conservatorship or Guardianship over the grandmother. File a Petition in the local probate court and go through the legal process to obtain the court orders needed. If serious about hiring counsel to help in this, and if this is in SoCal courts, feel free to contact me.
