Depending on how serious the mistake was you might want to get an attorney who is experienced in dealing with medical malpractice cases. Since you including nothing about the facts I cannot give you any guidance on the value of your case. You may give us a call today at (866) 981-1850 for a free consultation today if you would like to discuss the details privately.

Generally speaking you are entitled to lost wages, past, present, and future; medical expenses past, present, and future: and general damages for pain and suffering. The maximum you can receive for general damages in California no matter how seriously you life has been affected is $250,0000. There is no cap on special damages i.e. medical bills and lost wages.

So depending on the seriousness of their mistake and how that is going to affect your mother in the long term would dictate the value of her claim.

If it was a minor mistake, she only losses a couple days of work and did not suffer much then it is something that you wouldnt need an attorney for. Like I said you can give me a call today and we can discuss your situation for no charge and help you make that determination.

Hope that helps and good luck to you.
