Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

I accendently swiped sweeped my neighbors two cars and we agreed that we were going to handle the situation without involving our insurence company but for some reason they called the police. There was no police report but they still wanted to witness us exchange insurence information. I have no insurence and no job and the expense is about $3,000. The damages are minor, the cars are drivable and there are no parts falling off, yet they want thier money soon as posible because they say that they don't want to drive around with marks on thier cars. How should I handle the situation. They even said they would take me to small claims if I don't give them a solution to what happen. Do I tell her that she needs to tell her insurence to get their car fixed, but their copmany can't bill my insurence company for I don't have insurence. I need help!

You are the person who damaged their vehicles, so you must pay. Anyway, if they do submit the claim to their insurance companies, the insurance companies will then pursue you for reimbursement.

Good luck
