Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

I had aked a question regarding an auto accident with no injuries and I liked your response but I had a question. You had mentioned that the other party's insurance company was blowing smoke. I had mentioned that they say I am 100% at fault and that they will be coming after me to pay back to them what they had paid to their insurer. I don't feel I was 100% at fault. If anything it should have been 50/50. The CHP report says that I was at fault but the road we were on was only 171/2 feet wide with no center line and since I was ascending up hill I had the right of way. Is it possible to fight and maybe win this? All of the lawyers I talked to can't help me I guess since there was no injuries. I was asking accident/personal injury lawyers. Should I be asking traffic lawyers?

Since there were no injuries, there is no incentive for an attorney to take on the case on a contingency fee. You would have to hire an attorney by the hour to defend you. If you had liability and property damage insurance coverage on your car, your own insurance company would likely defend you on the case. I don't have enough information to give an opinion on if you would win or not.
