I would like to know,if there has been an arbitration done without me being there, due to illness emg. in my case, is there any recourse to request another arbitration hearing,and what would the statue be on this.in a personal injury case.

Do you have an attorney? If so, did you tell your attorney about your illness? If you did, he should be able to take care of it. If you did not tell your attorney, do so now.

If you do not have an attorney, you will probably lose the arbitration. If this is a case against another party, then the arbitration is not binding but you need to move quickly to reject the award or the other party could enforce the award as a judgment. You need to ask the court for the rejection of arbitration award and request for trial de novo. I would then suggest you get yourself an attorney.
