Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Auto accident

Both parties have agreed to allow me to pay cash for damages to their vehicle without involving the insurance co. Is there a legal form that will protect me from being sued at a later date.

Sure, it is called a Release of Claims or Settlement Agreement. It had better include all the necessary terms to protect you against present and future, known and unknown claims. It would be smart for you to have an attorney help you prepare one suitable to the facts. Feel free to contact me if interested.
