Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

need blocked account funds release for dental bills

How do i get funds released from a blocked account for dental expenses incurred from an accident? To my knowledge the account was set up to be used for any extenuating medical/dental expenses related to the accident or to be released when my son turns 18. He was hit by a car and sustained significant damage to his jaw and teeth. He is now at the point where he needs orthodontic work to pull his teeth back in place to make room for implants where he lost teeth. Please let me know what steps I need to take. Thank You.

It takes a court order. You have to prepare and file an application in proper form explaining the need. You will probably need to have an attorney do it, with correct proceedures and forms. Contact me if interested in doing so.

You will need to petition the Court to release the necessary funds to do the medical treatment.
