Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

I am a CA State public employee. I am being sued for a personal injury. Can my Cal-PERS retirement plan be attached/levied if I lose the case. I am 61 with 38 years in State service. I plan on retiring at age 63.

Most retirement plans are exempt from attachments from judgments.

probably not. most pension/retirement plans are exempt from collection.
