Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

DOGS aTTACKS

I was going toput something outside my front dog, when these 2 HUGE doga rushed at me barking strongly, I had to step in and slam the doos, while closing the door I sliped on my butt. I had surgery 3 weeks agon & my stomach starting bleeding. I had to call the police 3 times to get them to come out. I asked then to find the dogs owner and they said they were looking but what if they can't. I believe I know where they dogs live on this street. the fled in that direction when one of the homeowner drove by. the dogs were never heard nor seen again. After speaking to my husband via phone, he told me they rused at him thiseveing while he on outside and they retreated towards the cul-de-sac also. Is ther any action I can take against the dog owners and why wouldnt the police make a report? I want a report.

It does not sound like a strong case, to many key facts are unknown. I am not interested in this case but maybe other attorney will be if you pay for their time.

You may want to call the Animal Control or the County to report a menacing dog problem or dogs running free instead of the police, maybe they will take a report.

Good Luck.

Sorry for your problems.

You need to start with a complaint to Animal Control.

If they can find the dogs, then you have a good head start. Also, they will file a report.

I have no idea why the police didn't make a report.

That is what our taxes supposedly pay for.

Make sure you get a doctor's report (see your doctor) and document any lost days from work (if you work).

Let me know if I can help you more.

Re: DOGS aTTACKS

You might have a case but of course this would depend on whether or not you can find the owners of the dogs. Calling animal control might be a good first step.
