Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Expenses for auto injury

When submitting medical expenses to insurance of person who caused the accident, should it simply be medical bills stapled together or include a summary sheet listing expenses and total. What if the bills are a mix of original charges and reduced charges due to health provider agreements? Should mileage and parking for doctor visits be included?

None of that really matters much.

The job of the insurance adjuster is to pay as little as possible for the claim as possible. If they are willing to settle with you its for far too much. Rarely will anyone get a settlement without legal representation that is equivalent to what one will get with representation, even after deducting the legal fees.

My advice? Get a lawyer. Do yourself a favor. Don't be victimized twice.
