Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

My femur was broken and fixed with a screw when I was in middleschool. The surgery was due to an auto accident. I was told at the time I will have problems with it when I got older. I currently experience numbing pain due to the procedure. I have a hard time walking around. Is there anything I can do?

Medically? Maybe. Legally? I very much doubt it.

You have given no reason to believe your doctor did anything wrong. That he knew you would have problems later in life does not mean he did his work poorly.

I hope your family took whatever action they could have about the accident at the time; if you're an adult now, the limitations period has long since passed.

If the court approved the settlement when you were under 18 or you are over 20 years old there is probably nothing you can do to reopen your case.
