How to find a defendant to sue in small claims court

The photographer who took our wedding pictures has disappeared without a forwarding address and we haven't gotten our pictures. How do we locate him in order to sue him for breach of contract. We've tried certified mail but there's no forwarding.

You mentioned that you haven't received your pictures from the photographer. My reply is, what pictures? He sounds like a con-man. I'm wondering if he even had film in his camera. In any event, the attorney's above are correct, hire a skip-tracer to find the "skippers."

Good luck

Hire a private attorney to do skip trace and once you locate him, considering taking him to Small Claims Court.

Hire a "skip tracer" or an investigator.

There are some on line services as well you can utilize.
