Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

We have a home daycare in our neighborhood. The daycare has a couple of clients that speed and drive recklessly through the neighborhood. Is the daycare liable?

I don't see how they could be, unless there is a lot more to the story. Businesses are not liable for the actions of their customers even on the business's property, let alone on public streets.

The home daycare is probably not liable. However, you might check to see if the zoning in your area permits daycares of this type and if it is properly licensed. Even so, the driving behavior of the day care customers is not the responsibility of the daycare.
