A judgement at 16 years old?

At 16 I was going to take my driver test an had an accident in my mom car.To avoid any trouble my mom told them I took the car with out her permisson to avoid trouble for her self.But the judgement is on me an I'm 36 years old What an I do.My mom has passed away.

When did you first find about the judgment? What age were you when the judgment was entered and by what court? This is a very unusual situation. You may be able to collaterally attack the judgment if it was obtained improperly. Contact me directly at (619) 222-3504

If a judgment is more than 10 years old, and has not been renewed, then the judgment is probably not enforceable. If it still shows up on your credit report, ask the reporting agencies to remove.
