Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Hi, I would like to know if there is a way for me to find out if a how many pending lawsuits a company currently has against them.

There are investigators who can do this for you at a nominal cost. If it's in Los Angeles, you can go to most of the major court houses and check the computer by the company name. I'm not sure about other counties.

Thanks for your inquiry. As Mr. Cohen mentioned, most attorneys use an investigator for this, but I'd also recommend a few other avenues. If this is a publicly traded company, the documents filed with the SEC and available online have to have a list of all significant lawsuits against the company. If the company is headquartered in a particular jurisdiction, you'd want to check the clerk's office and look up lawsuits against the company there.
