Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Liability for adult child

my daughter is 19. she has a car registered in her own name. it is insured with liablity only, and my husband and I are on the policy so it is affordable. She lives at home. should she have an accident causing property or bodily harm to another, are we legally liable or responsible in any way? can we be sued? lose our home, etc?
