Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

I had a pedicure and fell after coming home and slipped in the driveway because of teh shoes they send you home in. I have talked to a few attorneys and because I fell at home they wont atke my case. I feel that the nail salon (for telling me it was safe to walk out in these flip flops) and teh manufacture of these shoes should be held liable. Can someone tell me honestly if I have a case or not. I shattered nmy kneecap and had to have surgery and have 12 more weeks of physical therapy and the medical bills are piling up.
