Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

personal harrassment

My neighbor is constantly calling the police and other agencies about my offenses. In every case she has a choice to report or not. If a complaint were not made, the police would not do anything about the problem. Example: We put a rope in the tree on the city property for the kids to use to climb. Example: My dog is still a puppy and gets out of the house. She catches the dog and keeps it until animal control comes. Something happens every month, sometimes several times a month. She seems to me to be bullying our family. Is this some kind of harrassment that can be stopped or are we just going to have to put up with it?

Re: personal harrassment

You should attempt to obtain a restraining order against her harrassment. Although not against the legally pemissable actions she has committed. Harrassment is often subtle, and a good judge can see it, even if cloaked in legal procedures.
