Personal Injury Judgement

I have a judgment against a person

who was at fault in a car accident which

left me paralyzed. It will expire in

october 2008. I need to know what to

do to exend this judgment. He never

paid the judgement

I am assuming that you have an attorney who has a lien against the judgment. You would need to contact him and see if he is willing to renew the judgment. If not, you will need to hire another attorney to renew the judgment.

This is assuming that the defendant has not filed bankruptcy.

You can extend the judgment for another 10 years and then hire a collection lawyer to collect what can be collected.

You need to have the judgment renewed. It is not a complicated process. What about trying to collect? Is the other person solvent, have property? Good luck.
