Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

While in a pet store a customer reaches to pat my dog without me knowing,(back turned talking to store rep),and my dog snapped at the customer 's hand before i could snacth her away, and breaks the skin (1" scrap and draws blood) i'm i liable for that?

Yes..... although there could be some liability on the part of the customer that could reduce the damages you would have to pay. If you have renters insurance or homeowners insurance the dog bite could be convered by the liability coverage of the policy.

You are darn tooting you are liable under Civil Code � 3342. You can't take your bastard dpog into the public if he will bite people. You better water watch what you are doing. Be glad that your dog did not cause more harm.
