Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

If a power company has worked on the lines and swapped out the pole near someone’s house and after it caused a high pitched noise to come out of the electrical in the nearest home giving the occupant(s) tinnitus like symptoms and then is unwilling to fix the problem after trying to blame the cable company (cable company checked the lines and put in writing that it was not them) but it was not the cable company. Then after being contacted a second time they try to refer the person to electromagnetic field (emf) followed by a 1-800 number, and is still refusing to fix the problem trying to tell the person that it’s the wiring in the house when nothing in the house has changed after the person asked who emf is and why they should contact them. Does the person have a case and can they seek legal aide that’s either on contingency or pro bono?

If it interferes with your quite enjoyment of your house then yes. You can sue on a few theories, including nuisance.
