Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

I have had problems with water and sewage leaks in my apartment, resulting in black mold problems. The mold and water damage was covered up and left. I wrote a letter to the owners of the complex and they sent a representative to fix the problems. To fix the mold problem that I informed them of, they tore a hole in the ceiling where the mold was and used our broom to sweep it off the wood, right in front of my family. He then sprayed a Pine Sol like product on it and covered the hole back up. I have pictures of all the other problems including the mold and living conditions that we have been subjected to and also took mold samples from the area in question. I want to take this company to trial but cannot find a lawyer that will accommodate my situation. I do not have any money to pay unless we win, after hearing all the details of my situation (which no lawyer will do after I tell them I have no money), you would see that I have a solid case. Are there any lawyers in the San Francisco Bay Area that will hear my case and could agree to payment from a contingency fee?

You provided information regarding only one of the two aspects of a "solid case": liability. The other aspect is "damages." In order for a case to be solid, you must have BOTH liability and damages. Liability without damages is basically what they call "no harm, no foul." It's just not worth suing over negligence that causes no injury, or very little injury. The greater the injury, the more worthwhile the case. So, before anyone will be interested in the case on contingency, you will have to show some serious injury. Was anyone hospitalized? Did anyone even get seen by a doctor? If so, then feel free to contact me toll-free at 877-LION-FOR-LAW

Mr. Stone-Molloy is correct. But there is more. Mold such as you describe is extremely dangerous. I had a case where a man died of it. Antibiotics could not cure his lung infections, and that was not even a sewage leak, just water. If you do not have "serious injuries" now, you could in the future. I would move out. No money in the world can bring back health or life.
