I have became sick as a result of mold in my apartment. How do I determine the date of loss? from the day the mold was actually discovered or the day I was hospitalized or another way?

Toxic mold poisoning cases are complicated. The statute of limitations is obviously important: you have two years from the occurrence of your injury, which in this case I suppose would be the day you were hospitalized. I have to wonder, how long before that was the mold discovered? Also, has a toxicologist inspected the mold to determine if it is in fact toxic? What kind of injuries did you suffer exactly?

These and many other questions should be answered as soon as possible. We've handled mold cases before, and the consultation is free. Give us a call at (877) LION-FOR-LAW (546-6367) and we'll be glad to help in any way we can.
