Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

stupid teenagers playing around on a friday night

I am 16 and i was hanging out with some freinds over the weekend and we decided to do something very stupid. There were some cones out on the side of the street and we moved them into the lanes to watch and see if cars would hit them or what would happen. No one got hurt, and no cars got damaged. Someone saw us parked and wrote down our liscense plate nimbers and my question is this. How much trouble are we in. Could we face jail time or anything like that (this is all of our first time doing anything bad with the law). Thank you in advance for your help with this matter

Hold your breath, hope that nothing happens, don't do it again, and think about consequences before acting next time. Thank goodness no one was injured.
