Im sueinnng c asino and o filed for a motion for determination for good faith settlement and he si that was the wrong motion what should i file to take them to court i am representing myslf

You would have to prepare and have the court issue a summons, http://www.courts.ca.gov/documents/sum100.pdf, and complete and file the complaint for personal injury, http://www.courts.ca.gov/documents/pldpi001.pdf, then serve the defendant with copies of those filed documents. However, I strongly suggest you look for and retain an attorney. We usually don't require the clients to pay anything until the cases settle or there is a favorable judgment. Usually, the other side will have an attorney and, if you can't figure things out, you probably won't get very far.
