Tooth damage

I recently broke a molar while eating a bowl of Applejacks. It was an unsuspected hardened piece of the cereal. It caused a painful root canal and crown. Do I have a case to at least recover dental costs?

You may have difficulty with proving the cause of the injury, but yes. However, it is a small claims court case at best.
