Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

I was travelling from an international Destination to USA. While Taking off from the international destination, the cover of the Airconditioner on the roof fell on my shoulder and I was injured. I am planning to take a legal action against the airlines. Can I do that?

Yes, but it's not clear to me whether you could sue in the United States. You might have to sue in the country where this happened. My guess is that you can sue locally, but I could be wrong.

There is a treaty called the Warsaw Convention which governs lawsuits like the one you want to bring, and it must say where passengers can sue. You may want to re-post your question under Aviation Law so that lawyers with the relevant expertise will see it.

Good luck.
