Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

My undocumented nanny fell and injured herself while on duty with my child, but was at a retail store. What liability do I have? She doesn't carry workers compensation. I pay her in cash.

You have to carry worker's compensation insurance because it appears that the nanny is your employess. Check your home owner's insurance and see if you have coverage.
