Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

uninsured motorist

a driver hit me in dr side and admitted fault to his ins AAA. I had tried to pay my ins in person 2 days b4 and my agent does not accept payments. Sinc Cal rquires a report for damages over $ 750 they would find out I have no insurance and would notify Nevada who may suspend my license. I live in my car & do day laboror i need my lic.

will AAA have to fix my car as I was not at fault. Hit in a

parking lot also not highway. Should i go for $ 1,800- 2,500 they will pay me or not so I do not get a suspension.

Also the Ins. code says theey must issue a cancel notice but their paerwork says they do not mail any notice

Re: uninsured motorist

Without insurance, the other comapny--AAA-would pay for medical bills, wage loss and property damage. There would be nothing for pain and suffering. I don't know what you mean when you say you would get $1800 to $2500. Any money you get is separate from anything the DMV does with your license. As for your ins, ask your agent or your underwriting dept. for a copy of the cancellation notice they sent to you. If you live in a car, did your ins. co. have your correct mailing address?
