Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

My wife recently hit a parked motorcycle while she was trying to parallel park. She barely hit it hard enough to knock it over and when it was picked up there was a scratch on the gas tank and the seat. I had originally excluded her from my auto insurance policy because she did not have a license. When she got her license I called my insurance company and added her two years ago. Since then I have been getting my bills with both of our names on it. Now that the accident happened they are saying that she is still an excluded driver on the policy and there is no record of me adding her. They refuse to pay the claim and the motorcycle owner's company says that the damages are over $2,300. My insurqance company said that if it were any other driver who was uninsured they would have covered it, but since she is "excluded" she is the only person in the world not covered. What are my options? What should I do?

It appears the insuracne company is trying to pull a fast one and cheat you.

Hire an "insurance bad faith" attorney on a contingency fee basis.

I then believe the insurance company will quickly pay the claim and offer you some moeny to go away.
