Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Can z plaintiff use toll or tolling like a defendant can? I was out of state for 6months can that change the statute of limitation on a case.

I'm afraid not. The defendant's absence tolls the limitations period, but the plaintiff's doesn't.

The only effect of being out of state for six months on the statute of limitations is it gives you six months less time to file.
