What action can I take against a Landlord who hasnt paid my security deposit wit
I have a few questions. First is that my landlord gave my roommates and I a 30 day notice to leave. When we left, our landlord started to help us move, yet he did not mention he was gonna charge us for his service of helping us move. Then he never returned our security deposit and it has been over the 21 days. He did mention after we moved out that he would send us a bill, because the fees came out to more than how much our security deposit was. Now when I tried to move into another apartment, the manager informed me that our landlord had give misinformation about us, which almost caused me not to get the new apt. Please help.

You have to go to small Claims Court.
