i was assaulted and forced into a contract, is that under duress
i was assaulted and beaten by someone i owed money too. he then made me take a hard money loan on my parents home a couple of days later to pay him back. is that contract voidable under duress.

I answered this. But, regarding recission, I should add that you will have to pay back the funds from the hard money loan, unless the lender was somehow in cahoots with the person who assaulted and beat you.
