Breach of contract
I am renting a townhouse and my boyfriend stays with me quit a bit. My landlord is convinced that he lives with me. I have assured him that he does not, but he has made it clear to me that I am in breach of my contract with him and it has serious legal implications that he wishes to discuss with me. I would like to know my rights as a tenant as well as the ramifications/legal implications if he had been living with me. Can my boyfriend simply be added to the lease? Thank you!

whatever rights you have are written into the lease. the boyfriend can be added only if the landlord agrees.
