Buy-out
If my dad wants to buy my wife and me out but is contingent upon selling another house to pay us, can we stipulate on the agreement document that we there should be a time limit so that it will not a long time.

Yes, if he agrees. What happens if the deadline arrives and the contingency doesn't arise, will the deal be void, or will he have to refinance the house he's trying to sell?
