Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Car Ownership Dispute

I am a undocumented immigrant and live in the state of California.I had bought a Car in the early part of this year, but had it registered in a friends name because i didn't have the legal means to have it registered in my name.

Even though i have all the original receipts of payment and have the pink-slip with me as precaution, my friend came over to my house yesterday and drove off with the Car to undisclosed location, with the spare key i left in her care.

She had told me when i called her to inquire about the car, that she took the car and had decided to keep it for herself because it was registered in her name. All this, because we have some friction/misunderstanding.

Can you please advice me on what to do,and what my legal options are?.

Re: Car Ownership Dispute

You are not an "undocumented immigrant"; you are in this country in violation of the laws, and therefore, you are an illegal immigrant. I do not believe in giving free legal advice to those who have violated the laws of our country and are already receiving benefits to which only legal citizens are entitled.
