Early exit from lease with payment

My landlord is allowing me early exit from lease expiring April 30,2000. She wants full payment March rent but for me to vacate by March 15. Is this legal?

Re: Early exit from lease with payment

The landlord is essentially requiring you to pay a penalty equal to 16 days rent to let you out of the lease one month early. Thus it would appear to be legal.
