Hi, my ex-boyfriend and I bought a timeshare, and it was paid in full with my credit card. He said he would pay me the remaining balance and transfer the title to his name after we broke up which was over a year ago. I have that in writing (email) but he hasn't done anything since then besides send me a check every month for the amount we set up for the payment. Please advise me on what I can do in this situation.

Sounds like a case that might be suitable for Small Claims Court, which is faster and cheaper than Superior Court, if $7,500 would satisfy you. Buy a book on how to prepare, file, try, win and collect in California Small Claims.
