Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Father moved to Philipines and wants me to sell property in California.

Is a California Limited Power of Attorney for Sale of Real Estate the correct form?

He will be having it notorized at US Emabassy in Manilla.

Thanks

My opinion is irrelevant. You and he will need to comply with the rules and instructions of the lenders, Escrow and Title companies involved in the sale. It is their decision what they will accept.

Mr. Nelson is correct that what forms the businesses involved with the sale matters more than a legal opinion. As a former executive with Fidelity National Title, American Title, Ticor Title and Chicago Title, however, I can tell you that using that form and having it notarized at the embassy is exactly what we would normally require.

That sounds like the correct form.
