Is it illegal for the mortgage company to change the federal truth in lending form after it has been signed

See my previous answer to the question, asked in a little different wording. I would add that another possibility is the terms of the loan might have changed, necessitating issuance of a NEW truth in lending form, or perhaps a new form was necessary to correct a mistake. These changes would presumably be innocent and proper if the borrower hasn't already acted irrevocably in reliance on the former version of the disclosures.
