Re: forecloser

Not only will filing bankruptcy destroy your credit for about 10 years, but it will not solve your foreclosure problem. It might delay it a little, but the lender has a secured loan (secured by your house).

You need to take some immediate action to save your equity and your credit from further damage.

Re: forecloser

If your house is in foreclosure, chances are your credit rating is already pretty bad. If you have the ability to pay back the past due house payments over time, you might be able to save you home with a Chapter 13 bankruptcy. Feel free to contact me for a free consultation your matter to see if bankruptcy might help you.

Re: forecloser

You should discuss your situation with an attorney with experience in bankruptcy. A bankruptcy petition may be successful in either saving your home or the equity in your home.
